I created an interactive SWF document and am converting to HTML. I had actionscripts inserted into movies that are placed on the main timelines. Can I do the same think with javascript or does the scripts in the movies have to be incorporated into the script on the home page? thanks.
Hi.
In HTML5 Canvas documents, you can write JavaScript in any frame of a Movie Clip timeline like it used to be with AS3 documents.
But please keep in mind that you should try to only write JavaScript in the main timeline and in external JS files. Nested Movie Clip instances should only contain simple instructions (e.g.: this.stop()) for the sake of organization and readability.

JC
