Count down timer for (Canvas html5)

I've been trying to build a "Months" "Weeks" "Days" "Hours" "Minutes" countdown timer w/ little success.

Seen a few replies for this question but for the most part the answers apply to Action script, and none mention how the timer gets displayed in a dynamic text box.

An answer would help a ton of people w/ the same question, also a working FLA would be fantastic.

you can use the ticker class to create a countdown timer, EaselJS v0.8.2 API Documentation : Ticker
