CS5 Media Encoder - black bars of DOOOOOM

Engaged ,

Hi Folks,

Need a little help from my Friends:

When I put a 720 x 576 .mov file through the video encoder, it's got black bars on the left and right of the actual video. I've got a feeling that Adobes Encoder doesn't particularly like anything other than a video with an Aspect Ration of 16:9. Anyone know a fix for this?

Also, if the clients videographer cannot provide me with a 1024 x 576 .mov (16:9) file instead, is it possible for me to get his 750 x 576 down to the required size of 512 x 288?

Any help on this, appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Boxing Boom

I'm pretty sure you can export to any dimensions, but this is nothing to do with AS3 so please post it to appropriate forum
