Dont work import PSD files to Animate

Hi, when I import PSD file to Animate, show me Error window and Animate is crash. Import PSD files dont work last few monts. Do you have same experience somebody? Help me please.  Sorry for my basic english, I learning to write without Google translater :).

does that occur with all psd files or just one, in particular?

Unfortunately all PSD files.

set a custom keyboard shortcut, if you have none

uninstall animate, including preferences, per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
reinstall animate

confirm the shortcut was reset

if it was, retry importing a psd file

if it was not, retry resetting preferences.

I uninstalled Animate including preferences. Then I reinstall Animate. The problem is still the same :(. Now when I import the PSD the app crashes with no error window.

I have had this issue before too. I believe it's a bug and they are working to fix it.

I also hope if it is a bug they are working on removing it :). But it doesn't solve my current problem and I have to import to Animate individual layers as PNG :(.

Thank you, looks like the source of the problem is the text;

If you convert the text layers to shapes in Photoshop then it seems Animate is able to import it:

But yeah I would say this is a bug. Report it here: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Thanks for your help, you are right. But that's a bug because previously the text import worked e.g. a year ago.

Yes it is a bug, click on the bug report link at the bottom of my previous response and report it to the dev team.
