Dumb font problem

Whenever I try to edit text, the font always changes to Times New Roman. It's really annoying, as I want to use the font that's already there, but it just changes to Times New Roman.

restart your computer and retry.

if that fails, set a preference (eg, keyboard shortcut) and uninstall animate, including preferences, per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then reinstall and confirm the preferences were reset.  if they were, retry using your font.  otherwise, uninstall preferences again.
