Error 1120: Access to Undefined Properties help

So I have this assignment I'm doing and the video I was given was to put this script for a play and stop button but every time I tried it gave me this error I looked for different ways to resolve it like turning off advanced layers but it did not work, I am very new to this please help.

is there an object on stage with instance name Btn_Stop and another with Btn_Play?

yes each button is name btn_stop and btn_play

you're not showing the properties panel after each btn is selected.

I figured out the problem. I never put in the instance name since I was looking for the problem in the code and not for the object. I figured it would be a simple problem that I just missed. Thanks for the help since you saying to show the properties tab is what made me find it
