What does "call to a possibly undefined method mean?

In my case, it's a font name that comes right after this phrase. I just want to know what exactly that error message means.

I'm using AS3.

it means you're using something like:

var whatever:Whatever=new Whatever();  // and flash doesn't know what Whatever is.
