Exporting both video and audio in Adobe Animate

New Here ,
Aug 02, 2018 Aug 02, 2018

Hello, I'm trying to export my animation in Adobe Animate, but I only export the video and not the audio. Another topic says to change the audio to "Stream" in the "Sync" option in "Properties", but I can't see a Sync option in my Properties window. How can I export both the video and audio in my version of Adobe Animate?

The only reason to use Canvas mode is if your project is intended for non-video web delivery. If you're making something for the sole purpose of exporting as a video file, you should use an AS3 document.

Fortunately, you can convert between document types. Just go to File -> Convert To.

You didn't develop your animation in Canvas mode, did you?

I did develop it in Canvas mode. Do I have to make it again or can I change the mode?

Because I thought it would help me convert my video to a reasonable file to upload. What should I convert it to?

Thanks. I've managed to convert my animation to AS3, but I still can't find the option to set the audio to "Stream", even though I've set the project to AS3. And when I try to play the .mp4 file, I get an error saying "Windows encountered an error trying to play this file". How can I fix this and export my file with audio? By the way, my audio settings in "Publish Settings" are "Audio stream: MP3, 16 kbps, Mono" and "Audio event: MP3, 16 kbps, Mono". and "Override Sound Settings" is not ticked. Does this have anything to do with it?

Hello, I asked this 11 days ago but didn't get a reply. I've managed to convert my animation to AS3 but I still can't find the option to set the audio to "Stream". Where is the option to change the audio and how can I find it?

Click on a frame containing your sound inside its layer. Open Properties and you'll see a drop-down menu that allows you to select the sound behavior.

Thank you for your help. I tried that and it worked. What settings should I put to make it widescreen?
