animate's not a 3d supporting app so it's unlikely to open a 3d file type.

Is it? I did put a number of older ones behind a subscription when Behance introduced that. Let me fix it!

I have a rather old Behance stream that demonstrates how to include 3D objects in Animate. Must be a webGL glTF based document to work... and works strangly right now... but if your willing to do some weird stuff with it:

no, 3d objects can't be used in animate, but you can rotate/move 2d objects in 3d space.
