So I have a few .wavs that I've been trying to insert but I've been having trouble.

when I go through the normal process of putting the file into my library, when I put it in, its silent. And I cant for the life of me find out how to actually insert it into the timeline.

If the sounds can't be heard when you play from the keyframe they start on, make sure you're using 16 bit sounds and not 24 or 32 bit.

To add the sound, you can drag it from the library and drop it on to the stage, which will add sound to the keyframe that's currently selected on the timeline. You can also add any sound if you click on a frame in the timeline and open the properties panel.

Make sure your audio is set to stream. Then you should be able to hear it.

He hadn't yet got the sound on the timeline, so wouldn't have seen that option.
