help size of scenes in animate

when I export my video, it seems that some of the scenes display larger than the others. (the don't fit on my computer screen)

is there a way to fix this?

i don't recall hearing that problem before.

did you try a few video types?

I did try .mp4 and .mov.  Do the settings below seem right,

And is it possible to resize each scene in Animate? When I review the individual scenes at 24% view- they each fill the screen differently

yes, you can resize each scene independently, but that shouldn't be needed.

Hey @gcrad ,

The content in all scenes except for the first and last one was not matching the size of the stage.

To be able to see your stage size and compose accordingly, make sure that in Preferences Stage Border is not hidden:

There is also an option to toggle the stage view:

This is not as handy as it may seem at first. Better see the content outside the stage while working.

1. I've scaled down all content using Edit Multiple Frames.

2. I've switched all your audio to Stream, so that it can be heard while scrubbing.

You may need to make small adjustments to timing, adding a few frames here and there now that the audio can be heard.

I'm back with questions. I had to make adjustments to the video (add a scene, add some frames and audio). I am trying to follow the steps above.  I understand I need to match the content to the stage. So I went to "timeline"- "edit multiple frames".  But from there how do I scale the frame? Going to transform - scale does not give an option.  Its frustrating I can't figure out. I have tried to google with no luck . any direction would be greatly appreciated.

select all objects in the frame > resize.

The Edit Multiple Frames UX is not very intuitive, but logical once you know it.

1. Activate Edit Multiple Frames by pressing its button on the timeline. Select the span you want to work on by moving the markers. You can long-press and choose All frames, if you like.

2. Make sure only the layers that you need to modify are unlocked.

3. Choose Edit > Select All or make a box selection on the Stage.

4. Move or scale the selected using the Free Transform tool.

Nick- I do not see that option on my screen (screenshot attached). Could it be something else on my screen? Also would I need to select the music on the timeline or just the objects?

That must be because you have Animate set to beginner's mode and they hide important tools from you.

Click on the hamburger button in the top-right corner of the timeline and choose Customize Timeline Tools:

Then add the Edit Multiple Frames button.

With Edit Multiple Frames you move/transform visual content on the Stage over multiple frames.

The audio keyframes will not be affected by this. If you need to retime the audio, just drag the keyframes in thetimeline.
