in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I followed the steps I learned from Reddit, and it worked for me.
https://www.reddit.com/r/adobeanimate/comments/1e4ua2i/unable_to_multiply_transform_gdi_status_1_ado...
Turn on the "An" software

ctrl + Alt + del ---- on keyboard

click on task Manager

go to menu === Details

choice the "An" software (Of course, the software must be running)

right - click on "Name" top of the column and choice "select Column" option

select the "GDI Objects" option and tick it

turn off the "An" and turn on that again

I'm using Adobe Animate in Windows 11 and the Task Manager doesn't display the "select Column" option when right-clicking "Name" column header. I have to assume the reddit instructions were for an earlier version of the OS. Does anyone know of workaround instructions for users of Win 11?

When I click on Animate in the list, leave it selected, go up to Name and right-click "select Column" finally appeared and I was able to select GDI Objects. The error FINALLY disappeared. Thank you!

OK, has anyone used this fix, had it apparently resolved only to reappear? That's what's happened with me. Makes zero sense.

I tried this fix and it seemed to work (briefly) but then the error reappeared. Is there any other option that should be selected other than GDI Objects? When I go back into Task Manager and check it, that is still selected yet the error message "Unable to multiply transform. GDI Status: 1" has reappeared each time I open Adobe Animate. It allows me to use the program once I click "OK" on the error, but will it eventually decide that I can't use the program due to this recurring error?
