HTML 5 Canvas, Chrome Error, While working with images.

Hi!

I'm trying to send an html file, to a customer.

the file includes movie clips, containing images, with script assigned to them.

when i try to copy the files to a different location, and opening it, using Chrome, I get this Error:

"Uncaught An error has occurred. This is most likely due to security restrictions on reading canvas pixel data with local or cross-domain images."

I followed this thread Re: Replay button not functioning after publish, in Chrome.  the answer by just.emma was the most effective - adding a vector object infront of the image.

but, the problem re-accrue, once I add another image, (with a vector object on it or not).

This is a link to a test file, in which the same problem occures - Dropbox - HTML_05_Test

I'll really appreciate your help :^)

tnx.

btw - the file was generated using Animate cc 2015.2.

You can get Mongoose server from here:

https://www.cesanta.com/products/binary

Its a single file executable. Place the server in the folder where you publish your files and simply double click on it to launch the server.

It's not unusual to hit security issues when testing local files. Your files don't give an error when they are online, so if your customer is going to use your files online, they should work ok.

One thing though, when I do a test from the FLA it works, and it continues to work as a local test. It could be that Adobe fixed an issue in the last year, and publishing from CC 2017.2 could help.

This is why you review web content on a web server, not via email. Put your project online somewhere and just send the client a link.
