During a sequence of wildlife shorts I will have occasions to place just the animation of a character onto real life video and would like to know if this is possible from animate to premiere or would I need other apps to facilitate such a task?
Cheers for any help.

Hi Paul,
Certainly. You just export a PNG sequence with alpha channel (32-bit) and then import and overlay in Premiere.
If you need the video footage in Animate as underlay to guide you when animating the characters you can do this too.
Different versions of Animate import different type of video so you may need to transcode to FLV or MP4, but that's pretty much it.
Also with the latest AnCC 19.2 you can export SWF files that should play well with AfterEffects.
So all in all - some tests will be need

Hope this helps
