Looking higher quality MP4 export

Explorer ,
Nov 21, 2024 Nov 21, 2024

When I test my video in aminate, the visuals (especially test) are crisp, but my media encoder MP4 export is softer.  Output quality is 100%, are there other formats I should be paying attention to?   Would Premiere Pro improve results?

Thanks

Test movie is just the animation at runtime, the result isn't rasterized, you're still seing vectors, so I don't think it's a good comparison.

At export, you're going to lose some sharpness just by the rasterization process alone.

I doubt Premiere will improve the results.

Try exporting a higher resolution video by increasing the render size from the export window, say instead of 1080p (1920 x 1080 px), increase it to 4K (3840 x 2160).

Wow, preset YouTube2160p 4K UltraHD is sharp as a tack.

There's a similar setting for Vimeo, does that mean my movie can only play on YouTube?

Thanks
