I see all lot of people using macromedia flash 8 Pro for sick animation just wanted to make sure it's ok because, my former instructor told me to use it since adobe doesn't use it anymore

Update: tried using open source programs opentoonz, pencil 2d, blender, animation desk,  etc, long story short, they all suck and I'm frustrated. macromedia flash was perfect. Including adobe, but I'm too broke to afford it (I'm 16) and can't really do alotta online transactions, all I'm trying to say is please adobe, please. (I know it's your software that's why i don't wanna pirate it but animation is one of the only thing that still brings me joy pls.

Have you tried the simplified version of OpenToonz called Tahoma? May be easier for you to work with.

Krita is also pretty simple to animate frame-by-frame with. And free.
