My JPEG and PNG Files will not upload.

When I am trying to upload the assets for my animation from my file explorer from my main hard drive and my external ssd I will do Import to Stage or Drag it in. I keep getting an error that says "One or More Files could not be uploaded because there may have been a problem reading them" All I see else is people having the same problem but with Audio Files. I need to know a fix for pictures. All of them are transparent images too.

copy one of the problematic files to the same directory as your fla directory.  import from there.

if that fails, upload one to a file server and post a link here.

open animate

start a project

save your fla file to a local, non-networked directory (ie, click file>save as...)

copy a problematic bitmap to that directory that contains your fla

in animate, click file>import>import to library

any problem?

You really need to go into whatever file manager you're using and tell it to show file extensions.
