Error openning just saved file. Two days of work lost. I work with this software for 20 years. First time this king of very mean bug. Happens to you?

file corruption is common.  learn to save your fla's frequently with increasing version number appended to your file name.  eg, project1_v000.fla, project1_v001.fla etc.

periodically close and reopen the latest version.  if it opens without problem you can delete previous versions.

the same advice applies to all apps/projects whether made by adobe, or not.

also, you can try to fix the corrupted file by

rename the fla to a zip

open in winrar and repair

rename the repaired zip to a fla

retry opening the repaired fla with animate.
