pen and mouse coordinates

hi, so i tried using adobe animate for abit, and drew with the pencil and brush tool, but every time its as if its drawing through my mouse instead of my pen, even tho im using one. mostly when i stroke really fast, the line doesn't go exactly how i stroked

The pencil tool and the paint brush tool make strokes and the brush tool makes fills.

To mess with how your line comes out. You have to mess with the smoothing setting in the properties when you have the tool you choose to use selected.

If you are using a tablet to draw with the brush tool, make sure you pressure and tilt is on that can be found in the bottom of the tool menu.
