Problem while using copy paste in Animate 2019

If I deactivate "Advanced Layers" and try coping and pasting I get the following Output Warning:

Warnings generated while copying/importing in KRRPG_MapGUI03.fla:

* Layer effects can be seen only when 'Advanced layers' mode is turned ON from document settings.

Is there a solution to this? is quite annoyng.

Hi.

It's because in the 2019 version is now possible to add effects directly to the layers. But this is only possible if "Use Advanced Layers" is turned on in the document settings.

Please make sure you are not copying something from a layer that had effects or filters applied when advanced layers mode was on. If this is the case, go back to the avanced mode, clear all effects and filters from the layer you getting the data and then turn the advanced mode off again.

It did work!
Thank you, nevertheless, I was trying to copy paste shapes I had just created in a different layer in a different symbol, it seems that if an effect was present in a layer it affects the whole document.
Still, the solution works great

What a mine field those Advanced layers are. Thanks for sharing this, Joao!

I'll try to remember it for the day when I run into it... That is if I ever move on to using Animate for work, not just to play with the new features.
