Recovering unsaved animations

Community Beginner ,
Feb 27, 2017 Feb 27, 2017

I went on Adobe Animation and I looked at my "open recent" folder and none of my animations came up.  I tried opening my animation by going to the animation clip in my saved documents, but Adobe said that an error occurred and couldn't open the folder. This has never happened before. Now I'm on Adobe Animation CC and the timeline and tools aren't showing up at all. I don't know whats happening right now, I don't know if it's a glitch because i reloaded it and it still was happening.  Is there someone out there that can tell me what is happening and what to do about it in case this happens again in the future? Just to clarify, I am using the trial version of Adobe Flash CC.

open animate>click window.  is tools ticked?  is timeline ticked?

if not, tick them and check for those panels.  if yes, try another workspace (window>workspaces)

you can rename your fla to a rar

open with winrar

click repair

rename the repaired rar to a fla

try to open the repaired fla

that works about 10% of time (in my guestimate).
