i sympathize with your plight.
but i know under the circumstances you described (eg, you did not reformat your hard drive) those recovery programs would find many deleted files. they may not be able to recover them all because some will have been over-written, but if your file deletions were recent, it's unlikely they were all over-written.
now, whether the files in question have been over-written, i can't say. but saying they found nothing to recovery makes me very suspicious that something's incorrect.
and again, in the future, save your fla files with increasing version number appended. eg, for project1.fla, save frequently using project1._v000.fla, project1_v001.fla, project1_v002.fla etc. periodically close and reopen the latest project to confirm it's not corrupted. and obviously never delete important files. heck i have backups of projects from 10 years ago that i can't imagine i would ever need. but you can never be too careful with software...
