Setting symbol to play from frame in timeline

Hey I just wanted to check and see if anyone knew a shortcut to force a graphic symbol to "play once" from whatever frame it is in the main timeline instead of goinging back to set the beginning frame each time.

I ask this cause symbols I need to do this typically have to be reset for some reason. I'll set the symbol to play once from a frame number, then when I create another keyframe for it, I have to update the first frame it plays from. If that makes sense

So, when I use my puppet rig. I animate the head seperately and have it play once through (this way its easier to animate all the symbols on the face for expression, then add them to the puppet afterwards). Then as I go through and have the head move along with the puppet through the tweening process, I always notice half way through the project that the head is set to play once starting from frame (as an example) 50 when the rest of the movie is on frame 100, or so. So then I go back and click on each keyframe for the head type in the correct frame to start from.

Does that make any more sense?
