Timeline UI differences [ANIMATE CC]

my colleague in the same office has this look on their timeline frames... Note the Keyframe Icon on layer 2 and the button 'Off' above for advanced timeline operations.

...whereas on mine it looks like this, without the advanced timeline button and I have the pencil icon:

The annoying thing on my colleague's timeline was that we couldn't select multiple keyframes (shift+click) to delete a load of key frames.

How do I change my colleagues to be/look like mine?

It looks like you're running an older version of Animate. What version and build number does it say it is?

Version 18.0  (Build 107) on my colleagues (top one in OP)

... and mine is the older one! 2017.5 (Build 16.5.1.104)

I've just realised the situation, I'm still using 2017 version and not using the 2018 update...
