weird problem - loading game - Enter & Spacebar keys

Hi,
We are having a weird problem I hope someone can help me figure it out.
We develop online children activities which are built with Flash cs6 AS2, mostly for Windows platform. among other input methods the activities work with the Enter & Spacebar keys.  (We use Key.getCode 32 or 13)
Lately I found out  that after opening an online SWF for the first time, on quite a few PC's, the activity fails to respond to the keys enter and spacebar (mouse work fine). after reloading of the SWF the keys work fine.

I will really appreciate any input or idea.

any code (like javascript) on the landing page could be causing that.
