where can i find my autosave history? (Mac)

Please help!

I am working on my final animation and I made a major edit, saved my animation and then realised i majorly messed up. Is it possible to find my autosave history so i can recover my past file?

open AutoRecoverFilenames.txt** and see if there was a saved file and, if so, check the folder location listed

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\<animate version>\en_US\Configuration

mac:

Users/<username>/Application Support/Adobe/<animate/<flash version>/en_US/Configuration/

when i go into user\username there is no application support file. Can you tell me how to access the user\username folders? i may be doing it incorrectly
