Editing a podcast - can see the waveform, but no audio playing. Other tracks are fine. Please help!

Hi all. Editing a long five-track podcast. Loaded up the file this morning and one of my tracks randomly stops playing the audio, even though the waveform is clearly there (And was working yesterday as I was editing it).

I can SEE the waveform, but no sound plays. Also, earlier in the track, the audio plays just fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix? Can provide more screenshots if that helps. Audio outputs seem ok as I can hear all the other tracks, just this one, after a certain point in the session.

Thank you

Really bizarre. I also think it MIGHT be around when the inputs on a session do change and the popup comes up.

I have to tell you that you aren't exactly alone in experiencing difficulties like this. I don't know quite what the developers have done, but I'm pretty convinced that they need to look at this pronto.

Ok I have resolved the issue, but not due to a fix to the above problem. Panic over. Lost a couple hours work.

As it was a single audio file, it seems that the actual file itself had lost all audio after the 30-minute mark. It just wasn't there. Wave file was, but no audio. I THINK it's to do with some kind of muting automation that then saved on the file itself.

I was able to fix by changing the 'Link Media...' option back to the ORIGINAL audio file. I had to then redo the nomalize/loudness stuff on the file itself, but the multitrack stuff had all the edits and everything else. Still, a very scary experience and would be keen to know if others have had this issue. Thanks.
