Macbook trackpad lagging since last update (23.5)

Hello, 

Since the last update (23.5) my trackpad on my Macbook has been lagging when using audition. 

Usually actions such as the pinch zoom and scrolling left to right work seamlessly, but now there is a lag. Movements will be stuttery which makes editing at speed difficult. 

My trackpad is working perfectly elsewhere on other applications. Has anybody else encountered this issue? 

I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.2 on a Macbook Pro M2 (14" Display, 16gb Ram, 500gb SSD)
