Resizing the healing brush causes Audition to crash

I’m using Audition 2025. A few days ago Audition seemed to reset itself (?) and I lost some preferences – I’ve been using the 2025 version for at least the last five months. I’ve tried resizing the healing brush three times with the result being an immediate crash. Just opening a file, hitting the [B] hotkey and resizing it up from 30 to around 50/60 is enough for the program to shut down and an error report prompt to appear.

I’m working on an M3 Macbook Pro running Sonoma (14.7.2). Audition is the 2025 version and must have updated (not sure if this was automatic or something I don’t remember approving).

Is there a way I could send a short screen recording (i.e. via Google Drive or similar file sharing site)? It would only be a few seconds long, the crash happens immediately.

More specifically, it’s Adobe Audition 25.3.0.71.

Experiencing the same thing after the last update. Running Audition 25.3 on macOS Sequoia 15.5 - MacBook Pro M3. Changing the size of the Spot Healing Brush in Waveform editor instantly crashes Audition, whether using the keyboard shortcuts or resizing the size in the brush field on the toolbar. Uninstalled the app, deleted preferences, cache files, and everything I could find relating to Audition, then reinstalled. Finally got the warning message to not come up after every crash asking to recover the file or delete it.

Until there is a fix with the next update at least I can successfully use the Command-U (Effects > Auto Heal Selection) in Waveform editor to clean up noisy bits.

What would help a lot would be if you could copy the text of the crash log into this thread - that way the developers will get a much better chance of locating the fault. You should be able to locate the appropriate one easily, and you can access them from the Help menu.

Unfortunately, I deleted and trashed the original log files. And surprisingly, since deleting all the related files and reinstalling Audition, the Spot Healing Brush is back to working normally again.

I’ve clicked ‘send report’ in the dialogue box at least four times, haven’t heard anything. Tried looking in Console > Sytem Reports just now but there’s nothing there. I don’t know if they get cleared every so often. It happened last week, might try again when I have time

Spot healing brush is crashing again in the Waveform editor. Clicking Reveal Log Files from the Help menu took me to the home >  Library > Caches > Adobe > Audtion > 25.0 > SentryiO-db folder, but I don't see a crash log text file anywhere in those subfolders that I can copy text from.
