ADJUST LOOP OFFSET

Explorer ,

Hey, so I'm using Audition for a mini-musical composition, I've got two tracks and I'd like them to loop a few times, but what I don't know how to adjust is the loop offset. For this, I right-clicked on both tracks and applied the loop "effect".

As you can see the offset is set by the dotted grey line, as it's not as I want to and because they don't match, I'd like to know how to adjust the offset to my choice and to make the match or how you can loop it using other ways if this is the incorrect one.

Thanks in advance.

Loop timing is set entirely by the length of the clip you select to loop. If you don't get that spot-on identical to the other clips you want to run against it, it will drift. Once you've got that correct you can use the Slip tool to move the contents of the clip around, but this will also move the loop points, so you have to be careful. Creating loops like this has always been a bit of a pain, but if you persevere you can usually get there. Often it's useful to extract just the bit you want to loop as a unique copy and work on that.
