Hello 👋.
I have moved my serial number from adobe audition 3.0.
Does she have someone else? The support logs for days no one. 😕
Your serial number would do you no good anyway, and neither will your original CD - the authentication server for Audition 3 was turned off years ago. For a while, there was a version you could download that came with a special serial number that anybody could use, but a few months ago that was withdrawn for legal reasons we are not allowed to discuss. So without the download version and serial number, you can't run it at all, I'm afraid.

Could you re-post this in your native tongue please? I think we may be able to translate this a little more accurately... 😉

It also worked with the serial number that was available online. can one say this again?

Not sure quite what you are saying there... But the only version that would work beyond the trial period was the one that had to be downloaded directly, with its own serial number. That serial number only worked with the download. No other working combinations were possible. If you don't have the download plus the serial number, you can't run Audition 3.
I don't see how I can make it any clearer than that!

So what are we supposed to do? We are forced to purchase a new version of Adobe Audition -- so far removed from what we have been using that. . . we will struggle to use it? Or will we be OK?
I suspect that another work around is to re-install it every 30 days. Hopefully this quarantine won't go on through too many cycles.
What version of Audition do I need to buy? What is the educator's price? Thanks.

You can't reinstall it every 30 days - it won't let you, and would be far too easy. There is hidden code to prevent it, and the only way around that is to re-install the entire operating system.
What do you do? Three choices: 1) Stump up for the latest version and run it on a licence. 2) Have a look around the internet and see if you can find somewhere to download the version that's now taken down (it still works fine) and its serial number. I believe that this is not impossible to do but you may have to look wayback to find out where. 3) Use some other software - although I'm not making any recommendations about what. All I will say is that anything decent which will do everything Audition will, will cost you money. So not Audacity.
For Audition beneficial pricing, you'll have to search the site (it might be there), or contact Adobe directly.
