Is it me or is FL studio more popular for vocal editing. I search a lot of youtube stuff and I can't find hardly anything about singing or anything about the effects in adobe audition vs fl studio. All I see is FL Studio everywhere......Why isn't anyone using adobe audition for music like me? I do a lot of vocals and need to find out what effects I need. I'm just saying Adobe Audition needs to step it's game up.

Hmmm It seems to me that being a Lemming is not necessarily a good thing 😉
While FL has its merits I can tell you from years of experience of editing, repairing and generally turning lead into gold that Audition is excellent for producing a polished vocal track (despite the efforts of the talent).
As far as FX go you really don't need much - a compressor, a parametric EQ, a touch of reverb and/or delay and you pretty much have it covered.
The general rule as far as I'm concerned is - if you can hear the effect then you have too much
YMMV

Obviously if you post on an Audition forum you're going to get people prejudiced in favour of Audition!
However, a couple of comments:
First, I'm not sure where you're looking to see FL Studio everywhere. In my experience, I see a lot more Pro Tools, Logic Pro and, at the economy end of the market, Reaper.
Second, Audition is aimed at a much different part of the market than FL. FL started it's life as a simple MIDI sequencer and, though it's gradually added some audio facilities, it still shows its roots as music creation software, Audition, on the other hand, started its life as a simple audio editor (Cool Edit). Over the years, a huge number of capabilities have been added (multitrack, non destructive editing, a ton of effects etc. etc.) but it's still aimed squared at the Audio (as opposed to MIDI) market. Under Adobe, this has been expanded to make it an effective tool for audio post production alongside film/video.
However, I'm curious as to what facilities for editing vocals you find missing in Audition? I use it daily and a lot of that work involves working with vocals, both speech and singing. I have a very small number of third party VSTs I use mainly for special effects but rarely venture outside the resources that Audition offers. If you do have things you think are missing, it's worth putting in one or more feature requests or perhaps submit an "idea" for discussion and voting. I know that the Audition developers do pay attention to such things--but also prioritise their efforts by considering how many users are requesting the same thing. You'll find links for Feature Requests in the right hand column (of the front page of the Audition forum, not in the forums themselves) under "More Resources" and the place to put an "Idea" on the Actions drop down menu, again on the front page.
