Hello there,

Under view in the tool bar, there is an option called Show Clip Effect Envelope. When I toggle this it doesn't do anything.

Can someone please tell me more about this function and how to use it?  Is this funcition broken?

Thank you!

No it isn't broken - you just need to understand what it's for, although I doubt whether it will do anything useful for you.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your reply. To clarify a bit more, under VIEW in the tool bar there are 4 options under show clip.

Show Clip Volume Envelopes

Show Clip Pan Envelopes

Show Clip Effect Envelopes

Show Clip Gain Controls

Each one of these options toggle on and off something that you can visibly see in multitrack. The show clip effect envelope doesn't toggle anything for me. So I'm asking if I'm supposed to trigger something for this to work or is it a dead or malfunctioned option?
