I have a Yamana YPG-535 piano, and I bought (from Guitar Center, so I got the right info) a USB cord that works to connect it to my PC. I installed all the relevant drivers, and I can see that the computer recognizes the piano. However, the only "input" item I can see is my external microphone. I unplugged that, but still it doesn't see the piano. I can't seem to find any help on this. How do I import tracks from the piano to Audition? Thank you!
I've had a quick look at the specs of your keyboard and the "USB cord" is a MIDI connection. Audition does not have MIDI capability so cannot record anything from that output of your keyboard. Slightly unbelievably (to me, at least) the keyboard's only external audio output, which is what you need to connect to in order to have Audition record AUDIO not MIDI, is a stereo headphone socket. So, your only chance of being able to record anything from the keyboard into Audition is to find a cable

So, your only chance of being able to record anything from the keyboard into Audition is to find a cable with a 0.25" stereo Jack at one end and, at the other, a plug which matches whatever AUDIO input your computer offers.
One thing to be aware of if you do decide to use the suggestion above: the output level of the headphone socket will be controlled by the main volume control and you may find that the level is rather "hot" for your computer.

You bought a piano from the guitar center so you got the right info? 🙂 🙂

No, I got a USB cord from Guitar Center.
The piano I ordered from a Music Store in Wisconsin.

Takes only a few seconds. 1. Connect your keyboard to your pc through the provided USB cable. 2. Go to usa.yamaha.com and on to the download page of your specific Yamaha model. 3. Download and install the Yamaha Steinberg driver. 4. In Audition, go to Edit/Preferences /Audio Hardware and find the keyboard settings.

Thanks so much I will try that, although I'm pretty sure that's what I did 2 years ago and got the Yamaha driver but it wouldn't recognize the piano.
I did not get a USB cable with my piano, but I bought one at Guitar Center they said should work.
At this point, I've sort of given up.
