The issue I am facing is that: when plugging my headphones into my audio interface (behringer umc202hd) the computer sound will output into the headphones as desired, however when I go onto Adobe Audition the sound is cut out and is not outputted through the headphones despite having the correct outputs selected:
I have tried going through forums, videos, and all kind that suggest going into sound settings on the computer and so on, but none of that has worked out. I am very confused as to why it will play the computer sound through the audio interface, but then cut out when I use Audition.
This usually happens when all the sample rates (what the sound device is set to, and the Audition session rate) aren't lined up to be the same. Sometimes (but not always) the OS will resample whatever its being fed from Audition but with some devices and some rates it simply refuses to play until you've sorted this out.
The other thing, of course, is that you are using the MME driver when Behringer say you should download and use the ASIO driver - that can significantly alter the output routin

Hello- I'm having the same issue, when using the audio interface with Adobe Audition 1.5. Upon playback, the audio is playing from the laptop speakers, not from the interface headphones. Can you please explain what you did to correct this issue? Thanks!
