Audition 23.0 Preferences not carried over from 22.6

Upon launching Audition 23.0 I was givin the option to cary over preferences from the previous version. I selected yes. When I opened Audition 23.0 my effects racks contained outdated plugin versions and my Audio Plugin Manager settings had changed. I tried reverting to 22.6, exporting my settings and then importing them to 23.0 but the problem persisted. I'll have to rebuild many effects racks unless there's something I'm missing?

Having noticed the settings options I was given when I upgraded, the conclusion I reached was that this was being handled by the CC Desktop app now, not Audition itself. If that hasn't worked and you still have the previous version installed, then a copy and replace of the Preferences folder may well be your only option. Do I think the importer's broken? It certainly seems to have imported everything here on this laptop...

Thanks for the response. I'm glad it worked smoothly on your machine. For future reference, where can I find the preferences folder you're referring to?

For Windows, the path is

C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\{version number}\

For Mac users, the equivalent path should be

/Users/{username}/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition/{version no}/

In both systems, the path may be hidden, and if it is, you will need to reveal it:

On Macs, this is achieved by clicking Go in the Finder menu whilst holding down the Alt/Option key.  Library should appear in the list.

On PC's, this is an option in the View menu of Windows Explorer.
