Audition can't see all 4 channels from my Behringer UMC404HD

Hey all,

I'm trying to record all the channels that are being output by my Behringer UMC404HD. I have a music input to channels 1 and 2, a mic on 3 and a different mic on 4. I've set the Device Class to ASIO, but when I go to Audio Channel Mapping, I can only choose 2 of the 4 Inputs...? So I can either have the music from 1-2 (by selecting 1 or 2) and the mic on 3, or the music and the mic on 4. But I can't find any way to have mic 3, mic 4 and the music (from 1 and/or 2) recording at the same time...

Sure I'm doing something dumb, but 2 hours Googling and playing around has got me nowhere...

I'm on PC BTW.

Cheers!

Are you recording in multitrack view?  If so, you should set up Track 1 to be stereo to take the signals from your music input.  Tracks 2 and 3 can be stereo or mono, one should be set up for mic 1 and the other for mic 2.

If you are trying to do this in Waveform view you will have to "mix" everything in the Behringer such that all inputs feed the same two outputs.

With the UMC404HD, on each track you will only see two inputs with [01S] and [02S] beside them, but you should be able to see four, typically saying [01M], [02M] etc and yes, this is only going to work with an ASIO driver.
