Audition CC 11.0.0.199 Freezing When Recording

Installed the 2018 update yesterday on iMac running OS 10.12.6. 32 Gigs Ram. Today I'm repeatedly encountering an immediate freeze-up when recording. Tried deleting and reinstalling app. No change. Adjusted hardware buffer down from 512 to 128. Still having problem. Never ran into this issue before update.

Can you please send us a Screenshot of the Audio Hardware prefs and what kind of Hardware you are using to
audbugs@adobe.com.
We can't reproduce your behavior locally and any information to reproduce this problem will help us to find the root cause of the issue.

I am experiencing the same problem. macOS 10.13. 16G, late 2016 15" Macbook Pro.

After several seconds of recording using a USB microphone, Audition locks up hard. It does not crash. I have to force close it. Audition 2017 does not have this problem.
