Audition CC 2019 Freezes when I save

If I change anything in the waveform view, when I save, it just freezes. On the bottom right corner, it shows this:

Most recently it happened when trying to save after converting a sample type.

I use Windows 10 on a year-old HP Spectre x360. Saving to a brand new external hard drive via usb c.

It looks like an information box is showing partly off screen. Can you click on it with the mouse and move it centre screen so that it's message can be read?

Hi jordana,

Sorry for the trouble. When the application freezes while doing something in specific, I prefer making the settings default and then testing the issue. Here, I would recommend you to reset and preferences Customizing and saving application settings  and change the location where you are trying to save the project.
