hi

i haven't the time to update to audition cc 2017 , so i'm still running the last version of 2015

i have installed the trial version of acon equlize and fabfilter  pro q2 (i guess the best equalizator according about what i have read)

i 'm under multi track

i added both on rack effects

but when i try to control the effect i can't find anything

look the first screenshot , ok it's just a test , i know i have 2 equalizators on the rack just to make a test

in the second screenshot , i try to control the equalizator with keyframe but i get this menu

is the only way to control output level , right?

can somebody tell me what's the meaning of in the second screenshot for band 6 Q ?? i haven't in the fav pro q2 preset

You can only control the Envelopes that appear in the long list that appears when you click on FabFilter that you show in your second image. Audition will only show those adjustments that the plugin makes available to it. You can, of course, still perhaps use the Rack Input/Output/Mix and Power envelopes to control the level of effects within the Rack.

I don't have any plugins other than the native ones that I use for all my audio work in Audition except a couple of alternative reverbs which I don't really need to control in real time.

One method of getting round problems with real time effects that you need to control the amount of in a session in Multitrack view is to apply the effect to the whole audio file. Then place the effected audio on a second track in sync with the original track and just use the normal Volume envelopes to crossfade the effects in and out.

Hi

do you mean have the same audio on different track ? for example on track 2 ,the track 1 with an effect and edited with it

but how can i copy the audio on track 1 to track 2 and have them perfectly sync?

thanks

Basically yes. As with a lot of things in Audition there are various ways to do this. Probably the easiest way is to first make sure that you are using the Move tool in Multitrack. Then use Alt+Left click (copy and move) to select the clip and move a copy onto the track underneath. Then right click on the newly created copy clip and select Convert to Unique Copy. Having done this double click on the new unique copy to edit in and add the effect in the Waveform view. Don't forget to save the new unique copy with a name to reflect the change that you have made to it.

This technique sounds long winded but takes much less time to do than describe once you have tried it out.

At the bottom of your list of available parameters, there's a triangle indicating that there may be more below. Can you scroll any further down by clicking on it?
