I just started using audition and I have a good computer. Windows 10 64 bit. 32 gig of rams and it's running off a half a gig solid state drive. None of my resources are maxing out in the monitors. I am barely at 5% of my computers potential. What do I need to do? It just says not responding how do I get a crash report?
As I hinted above, there's no point in posting any of the log report here - you need to do exactly what it says in the FAQ and post it to audbugs@adobe.com where it will get looked at, and they will communicate with you directly.

It's crashes only when I hit the space bar for playback sometimes not always but maybe about the 10th or 20th time I hit play back.

You need to do what it says here: Audition Crashed. Now what? and submit the results to audbugs@adobe.com

Okay I did most of that and I am still having issues.

It would also help if you told us what Operating System you are using, what audio interface and what audio drivers. Have you tried changing the Device Class in Audition's Audio Hardware preferences to use a different audio driver type like MME?
You also don't say if you are trying to playback audio from the Waveform view or the Multitrack view. The way audio is streamed varies depending on which view you are playing back from and if you have any effects selected.

My OS in mentioned at the very top. I am using MME and it works most the time for about five minutes then freezes. I will try and contact adobe hopefully they have decent support. I am editing in the multi-track window.
Steve the reason I am posting here is because adobe wasn't available and most likely will not be available again since my schedule is evening.

So I just tried to call and realized it's Saturday. Maybe chat?

So yeah this is the only option for support available from adobe right now.

I sent an email to them but I don't think it's a 24hr email.

That's not really a 'reason', that's an act of desperation - which I quite understand. But unfortunately, that doesn't make a scrap of difference; we still don't have access to what the devs know and can analyse, however desperate you are - posting listings here remains pointless about 100% of the time, especially when it's a delayed failure.
As for hoping that Adobe has decent phone support - well, you're going to be disappointed, I'm afraid. Support's Primary Directive is to get you off the line as soon as possible - all and any means are fair game, including out-and-out lies. One of their favourite tactics is sending people here...
The thing about audbugs support is that it's directly run by the people who can resolve your difficulties - the developers. The chatline has no direct access to this level of support, as they repeatedly demonstrate. Yes, all of this may be frustrating, but audbugs really is your best bet.

And remember that it is still the Christmas and New Year break across a lot of the world. So it is unlikely that there are any support workers working at the moment, and that includes the developers who are, hopefully, having a well earned holiday.

There is no crash report because it stops responding.

I scrub back and hit the space bar and it stops responding. This program is completely unusable this way. I have to close it and re-open it to get it to work again.
