Audition CS6 Spectral Frequency Display jittery/choppy on Windows 10

Hi,

I'm in the process of moving from Windows 7 to a more powerful system running Windows 10. Now I encountered a weird problem with Audition CS6's spectral frequency display. The problem is that the display runs extremely jittery/choppy (in centered position which I always use). Never had this problem on the slower Windows 7 system. Does anybody have any idea what to do about it? Thank you so much!

Have you checked to see if your video driver is completely up to date? Things to do with W10 and drivers change at a rate of knots...

Hi, thank you for your reply, the driver is up to date, so this can't be the cause of the problem, unfortunately 😞

Hi,

I have the same problem with Audition 1.5 and CS 6

Both went flawless on my old win 7 64 Bit machine and after an upgrade to Win 10 the spectral view-movement is driving me crazy.

Already bought a new graphic card, but this did not help.

Have you - in the meantime - found a solution for the problem?

Best regards
Simon

Hi,

unfortunately not. I only noticed that a similar scrolling problem occured in Premiere's timeline. My workaround was to get Adobe Cloud 🙂 I haven't had the time to test the spectral view yet, and frankly, I'm actually a little afraid to try it... 😞

All the best!
