Audition doesn't stat - Error 0xc0000142

This is what I get now when trying to start audition.

What you've done before the error occur?

Does your system match the system requirements?  Audition System requirements

Try to dDownload and install the latest supported Visual C ++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 from the Microsoft website.

The first thing you should do is try running as Administrator and seeing if it starts then - this is generally an 'insufficient privileges' issue. If it still doesn't start, and I'm assuming that it has run correctly before, then uninstall and reinstall Audition using the Adobe CCcleaner app. This cleans up a good deal better than the Windows uninstaller.
