I have a recurring problem with the connection between Audition for Windows (v2023, although I've also had it with earlier releases) and RODEcaster Pro ASIO. I just configured a new computer this week and was hoping I might thereby solve this issue, but it's already returned.
I'm not entirely sure what triggers it, but after I've been working with multitrack sessions using the RODEcaster, an Audition error message will pop us saying that my audio hardware (RODECaster ASIO) has failed to load. It then prompts me to reset the "Audio Hardware" preferences. I initially thought it was only when the computer went to sleep, but my current computer is set to never sleep and yet I still got this error message.
The strange thing is, I never get this error message when the RODEcaster connects via MME. But I'd rather not use MME as it doesn't have the flexibility that ASIO does.
To get RODEcaster going again, I have to either restart Audition or sometimes just restarting the RODEcaster works.
Any thoughts as to what's going on?
I am experiencing the same issue using Audition 2023 and RCP2. I have turned the problem to Rode Help Service as I couldn't find any expertise information on this. It doesn't allow you to work at all. Unbelievable!
