Audition panel appearance

I've been using Adobe Audition for years, and before that, Cool Edit Pro, so I'm pretty experienced with it.  But the panels are, for lack of a better word, free-floating. They have the white bar at the top of each panel, and nothing I do seems to solidify them (again, for lack of a better word.  When I go to the panel settings, "Undock Panel" is greyed-out... and I don't know if that's the problem anyway.  I've attached a screenshot which I hope may clarify the situation.  I have this display customized for my audio book narration processing.  If anyone knows what's going on here, please let me know.

Thanks!

'Undock panel' is greyed out because they are all undocked! You redock panels by picking them up by their name with the mouse and moving them to where you want them - various positioning options will flash (and turn grey, with a blue bit as a dropping point) as you hover the name over a suitable resting place. Or even an unsuitable one - it's up to you.

Thank you! I can move panels to where I want them (I've customized a
workspace for audio book narration) but I'm still unable to dock them. It's
not a major issue, just mildly frustrating.

You need to be really careful where you put the mouse when you move them - they'll only redock if you pick them up with the mouse cursor on the name in the top left corner. If you don't do that, they'll only move about.
