Audition Project disconnected from Source files

I am editing a 40 minute podcast with many cuts, and I had to set it aside for a few weeks.  When I went to open it, the sesx file is there, all the tracks have their colors, waveform seems to be there (although exporting them did not work -- wrong files) and the Multitrack is just dotted lines amid black space; the alert says 51 of 69 files could not be found.  Link Media is not finding anything.  I've tried Time Machine, same problems.... any help?

I am working in Audition version 25.6.0.97, on a Mac Studio, Apple M1 Max, 64gb memory, running Tahoe 26.3.  There was at least one Mac upgrade since the last time I opened the project.
