Audition Quits if I don't sign into Creative Cloud

Community Beginner ,

Now having an additional problem with Adobe Audition CC 2019.

When I first purchased, I was able to open the application and do whatever I wanted to do, then close it when done.

Today, when I attempted to open the program, I got a screen asking me to log into Creative Cloud, something that never happened before.  I elected not to sign into Creative Cloud (since I never had to before).  Upon not signing into it, Audition simply quit and disappeared from my computer screen.

So the question is, Why is it doing this?  and How do I get back to opening and using Audition without having to log into Creative Cloud?

I don't use Creative Cloud at present and therefore Audition is now useless to me if I can't get the program to load and start.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

When did you install Audition CC 2019 and how long have you been using it for? Audition has to log into your Creative Cloud account occasionally to ensure that your subscription is still active. It usually wants to do this about once a month AFAIAA. So if you have been running it for some time without internet access this probably explains why it won't open. Do you have the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app installed? This will keep you up to date and do the checking in the background without you

Otherwise you will have to speak to Adobe Customer Services since this isn't an issue that we, as users like yourself, can deal with I'm afraid.

You may have given me the answer.  I bought and downloaded the software about a week ago, using offline the entire past week.  So this time I did sign in to Creative Cloud and everything worked fine.  Thanks for the tip!
