Audition Stretch tool

How can i stretch a voice, a narration of a piece of text, to double or +50% the time without compromise vocal properties? I've tried various parameters but the voice is always "stretched" slower.

That doesn't make sense. How can you possibly stretch a voice out for an extra 50% without it slowing down? And anyway, all vocal stretches or shrinks involve a compromise, and because our ears are pretty finely attuned to what human voices are supposed to sound like, we will notice.
