i have a deadline for my first audible narration job, this is huge for me and adobe audition has really set me back, but its all i can seem to fully understand and use! please fix this bug its terrible and its NOT my system. i just purchased a whole new pc because of this issue and now i KNOW IT ISNT ME! the entire wav file is 58mg and i have 197.71GB free to work on this. i copy a 1 second section of my file, and go back to the begining to add the room tone clip i just copied and it literally takes 30 full minutes to paste. then the process starts all over again. my deadline is the 13, and at this rate im going to breech contract because of this program, but i can literally use no other because i need adobes filters. PLEASE FIX THIS ITS NOT ME. 3 systems down and it still does this.

in addition, my processor isnt the issue either its massive, they all where. this is a recent issue because when i first started working on the file everything ran like silk, then i ran into this issue all of a sudden just cutting down audio and copy/pasting. it worked fine before with the same exact file nothing changed on the 3 i tested it on. my brand new one with just adobe audition on it and its most recent windows 11 updates, shouldnt be behaving this way.

figured it out!!! it was taking me over 30 minutes to paste a 1 second clip and i just figured it out. there is a window called markers. right click on one in the history and delete all cue markers. it will run at the speed of light i had over like 1000 by accident i wasnt paying attention. runs like silk now, keep mind of your que markers and delete them when your done with that section, or else.
