Auto Save Location Anywhere?

I've encountered a fatal error in my program: it immediately crashes upon opening one particular session: It was functioning properly, but I went to add additional vocals and edits to it, and I drag copied one particular clip, and it initially gave me the fatal error and needs to shut down message; after reopening it, it pauses for a few seconds, and same thing - encountered a fatal error and needs to shut down; I have most, if not all of the tracks pre-rendered, and it seems as though it's causing some real bad latency issue, which is subsequently causing the error. I have the Auto Save every 10 mins box checked in the preferences, but can't locate a folder for it anywhere in the system (macOS Mavericks - Audition CS6), previous research enlightened me that the Auto Save feature got updated/expanded with version CC2015, but was hoping for some sort of file retrieval option for my particular version if anyone know of any... alternatively, is there a way to open a session with the pre-render tracks option turned off? Or is there any other way to salvage this session otherwise? It's a real important song needed for a variety of purposes, thanks

If it's crashing, the only way we will really find out why is if you follow the crash procedure: Audition Crashed. Now what?

As far as auto-save is concerned, have you ever altered the settings for it?

You have to bear in mind that it's only saving the session file, so you might well want to do a search for it.

Other than that, the person around here who is most likely to be able to diagnose the state of the session file you've got is SuiteSpot - who will probably spot this thread (with a bit of luck... )

That Auto Save feature you're displaying isn't in the version I have: CS6; as far as that Crash Diagnoses instructional thread, I discovered a while back that it's in reference to a later version that I have as well... I've been having similar issues with the program freezing and crashing for a while now, I'll be upgrading to CC19 when the new MBP come out, and totally switching to Pro Tools... thanks for the input

Oops missed that...

CS6 Autosave location is in the user settings directory in a temp folder. Location in a Mac is

~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition/7.0
